Three Years of Aligning Art & Business

September 2023 marks the 3-Year Anniversary of the Aligning Art & Business Membership Back in 2020, I decided to focus of my coaching practice on the intersection of being an artist and everything else. From dayjobs and life responsibilities to depression and chronic illness, everything affects how we show up as artists. It affects what inspires us, the themes we explore, and the amount of time we are actually able to spend making art.

AAB wasn’t created for the full-time artist. AAB is for the rest of us- artists who are mothers, or not ready to give up the health insurance that comes with a dayjob. Artists who worry that they can’t have that title because they can’t do it full-time.

But as a business coach, single mother, and artist (with a dayjob), I believe that there is a way of balancing art and life, even if the balance tips in one direction or the other frequently. AAB is a safe space for us to gather weekly for tech and emotional support and monthly to learn something new. AAB members also get a 30-minute tech call with me each month for 1:1 support.

AAB is based on the 7 phases of an art business called the B.A.L.A.N.C.E. Framework:

Stage 1: Build your web presence

Stage 2: Align with your raving fans

Stage 3: Launch your shop

Stage 4: Awareness and systems

Stage 5: Next-level artist CEO

Stage 6: Channel growth

Stage 7: Empowered empire

Checklists and videos on the framework are available inside the membership, including over 130 recorded workshops!

I’m so happy to celebrate more than 3 years of AAB!
